Our whiskey rocks for The Grand Prix!
Salesforce was looking for a stunning product to give away at the Montreal Grand Prix. They chose the most sophisticated item in our collection.
With this project, Salesforce is giving its partners unique products that have positive impacts on our environment. Here’s how.
The positive impacts of locally-made product
Economic spinoffs – We’re committed to locally sourcing our products: it’s one of our most important values. For this project, we worked with Lithologie designers. The rocks are extracted in Chibougamau, north of Quebec, and the wood as well as the packaging were bought from two Quebec manufacturers. The engraving of the wood was done by a local company and the packaging was done in their studio in Montreal. That means 5 local businesses were involved in the creation process of this unique product.
Environmental impacts – As we mentioned, manufacturing and production were localized, meaning the products travelled from our studio to the Salesforce event in Montreal. The products only travelled 3 miles to reach the team! This means not much greenhouse gas was produced overall — that’s a win for the company!
Social benefits – By handing out a locally made product, Salesforce is putting the spotlight on local products and showing off the creativity of Canadian designers. Salesforce is therefore positioning itself to promote local talent.
Salesforce – A role model for our Ecoleaders
Salesforce can see the impact it makes by choosing a B Corp certified local supplier: it encourages local creativity, minimizes environmental impacts and supports jobs in the country. This strategy is in line with its mission and overall vision.
