An Office Gift
The Ministry of Immigration, Diversity and Inclusion was looking for a gift to celebrate their employees’ 25 years of service. After brainstorming a few ideas, the team landed on our 4-piece desk set.
The positive impacts of our products
Economic spinoffs – One of our most important commitments and values is to design local products. For this project, we worked with the Montreal designer AllStudio. The 100% certified wood used in the production of this product was cut, sanded and assembled in our studio in Montreal. That means 5 local businesses were involved in the creation process of this product.
Environmental impacts – As previously mentioned, the manufacturers are located in Montreal and the production is local. Therefore the products only traveled in the province of Quebec – meaning less than 5 km. This means little greenhouse gas was produced overall — that’s a win for the company!
Social benefits – By handing out a locally made product, the Ministry is putting the spotlight on local products and showing off the creativity of Canadian designers. They is therefore positioning themselves to promote local talent.
The Ministry of Immigration, Diversity and Inclusion – A role model for our Ecoleaders
The Ministry of Immigration, Diversity and Inclusion can see the impact it makes by choosing a local supplier: it encourages local creativity, minimizes environmental impacts and supports jobs in the country. This strategy is in line with its mission and overall vision.
