Coasters reinforcing company values  !

Keurig was looking for a gift to distribute to the participants of their conferences. They wanted a product that adequately represented their company’s values and its mission. We suggested recycled and recyclable acrylique coasters. Each coaster is made of made of 100% recycled material: 30% post-consumer recycled material and 70% post-industrial recycled material.

The positive impacts of our coasters

Economic spinoffs – One of our most important commitments and values is to design local products and work with local entrepreneurs. For this project, one of the Montreal designers we worked with is Allstudio. The engraving and cutting of each coaster was done using our laser machine in our studio, here in Montreal. In total, 4 local businesses were involved in the creation process of this product.

Environmental impacts – As we mentioned, the manufacturers are located in Montreal and the production is local.  The products only travelled within the Montreal area – meaning less than 13 miles. This means very little greenhouse gas was produced overall — that’s a win for the company!

Social benefits – By distributing a locally made product, Keurig is putting the spotlight on local products and showing off the creativity of Canadian designers. The company is therefore positioning itself to promote local talent.

Keurig – A role model for our Ecoleaders

Keurig can see the impact it makes by choosing a local supplier: it encourages local creativity, minimizes environmental impacts and supports jobs in the country. This strategy is in line with its mission and overall vision.
