– December 2017 –

An elegant and sophisticated product  !

Mandate

Nunavik Regional Board of Health and Social Services was looking for a product to give to to their first cohort of graduated women in the program in partnership with CEGEP Marie-Victorin.

The positive impacts of our sleeves

Economic spinoffs – One of our most important commitments and values is to design local products. The product was produced by the designers Allstudio. The cutting and engraving of the felt were done in our studio in Montreal as well as the seems. That means 4 local businesses were involved in the creation process for this unique sleeve.

Environmental impacts – Like we said, the manufacturers are located in Montreal and the production is local. Therefore the products only traveled inside the province of Quebec –  meaning less than 935 miles. So not much greenhouse gas was produced overall — that’s a win for the organism!

Social benefits – By handing out a locally made product, Nunavik Regional Board of Health and Social Services is putting the spotlight on local products and showing off the creativity of Canadian designers. The company is therefore positioning itself to promote local talent.

Nunavik Regional Board of Health and Social Services – A role model for our Ecoleaders

Nunavik Regional Board of Health and Social Services can see the impact it makes by choosing a local supplier: it encourages local creativity, minimizes environmental impacts and supports jobs in the country. This strategy is in line with its mission and overall vision.
