Our whiskey rocks for Flow!
Flow Partners was looking for a stunning product to give to their clients. They chose the most sophisticated item in our collection – our handmade whiskey rocks. By investing in this project, Flow Partners is not only offering their clients unique products; they are also making a positive impact on our environment, economy and local community.
The positive impacts of our locally-made product
Economic spinoffs – We’re committed to locally sourcing our products: it’s one of our most important values. For this project, we worked with the Lithologie designers. The rocks are extracted in Chibougamau, north of Quebec, and the wood as well as the packaging were bought from 2 Quebec manufacturers. The engraving on the wood was done by a local company and the packaging was done in their studio in Montreal. That means 5 local businesses were involved in the creation process for this unique product.
Environmental impacts – As previously mentioned, manufacturing and production were localized, meaning products were only transported from our studio to Flow Partners in Montreal. The products travelled less than 10 miles in the province before reaching the clients! This means not much greenhouse gas was produced overall — that’s a win for the company!
Social benefits – By handing out a locally made product, Flow Partners is putting the spotlight on local products and showing off the creativity of Canadian designers. Flow Partners is therefore positioning itself to promote local talent.
Flow Partners – A role model for our Ecoleaders
Flow Partners can see the impact it makes by choosing a B Corp certified local supplier: it encourages local creativity, minimizes environmental impacts and supports jobs in the country. This strategy is in line with its mission and overall vision.
