A trophy made and designed locally !
Coop FA was looking for a trophy to award the winners of the Bourse Scol’Ere challenge as well as their largest partners. They particularly loved our relay race trophy, symbolizing teamwork.
The positive impacts of our product
Economic impacts – One of our greatest commitments and values here at Kotmo is to design and create products locally. The production of this trophy was done in the Machine Design Appliqué studio. The wood was cut and sanded, and the metal was cut and finished individually by hand. Finally, the engraving was done in our studio in Montreal. This means 6 local businesses were involved in the creation process for this unique trophy.
Environmental impacts –As we mentioned, the manufacturers are located in Quebec and the production is local. Therefore the products only traveled within the province – meaning less than 270 km. This means greenhouse gas impacts were limited throughout the production process — that’s a win for the company, and the environment!
Social impacts –By handing out a locally made product, the association des agences de communications créatives is putting the spotlight on local products and showing off the creativity of Canadian designers. Coop FA is therefore positioning itself to promote local talent.
Coop FA – A model Ecoleader
Coop FA can see the impact it makes by choosing a local supplier: it encourages local creativity, minimizes environmental impacts and supports jobs in the country. This strategy is in line with its mission and overall vision.
