A Custom-Made Reusable Bag!
Cook It was looking for an extra large reusable bag to add to their online store.
The Positive Impacts Of The Reusable Bag
Economic spinoffs – One of our most important commitments and values is to design and create products locally. For this project, we worked with Dans Le Sac, a local designer specialized in textile production, as well as two other local companies. This means that 4 local businesses were involved in the creation process of this product, and it was 100% made in Quebec.
Environmental impacts – As we mentioned, the manufacturers are all located in Quebec. The bags therefore only traveled within the province – meaning less than 50 miles. A minimal amount of greenhouse gas was produced overall as a result — that’s a win for the company, and the environment!
Social benefits – By purchasing a locally made product, Cook It is putting the spotlight on local production and showing off the creativity of Canadian designers. The company is therefore positioning itself to promote local talent.
Cook It – A role model for our Ecoleaders
Cook It can see the impact it makes by choosing a local supplier: it encourages local creativity, minimizes environmental impacts and supports jobs in the country. This strategy is in line with its mission and overall vision.
